Lakshman has over 30 years of professional experience in various senior and management roles in leading telecommunications, IT and electronic manufacturing global organisations. His executive career is characterised by effective leadership and a passion for delivering high quality, total solutions to customers. Lakshman has a successful track record of consistently leading companies and divisions to strong revenue & profit growth through strategy development, successful business structuring and the pursuit of new business and markets.
Lakshman Mawalagedera was the founder and Managing Director of buroserv Australia Pty Ltd. and previously was the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Commander Communications Ltd a Public Listed ASX company till December 2007.
Lakshman's breadth of experience ranges from executive roles in Commander Communications Ltd, British Telecom Australia, Phillips Communications, British Aerospace Ltd and EMI Medical Ltd.
Lakshman's passion now is to make ISPhone Australasia a leading trusted telecommunications solutions provider in the Australian market

Gavin is one of the few visionaries who recognized the potential of VoIP technology long before most of us had even heard of it. In late 2003 a smart US company caught his eye; ISPhone, Inc. was working with nifty new technology and rapidly gaining a reputation for low cost calls and great service. Sensing that he was onto something big, he quickly became involved as an external sales and marketing expert, working closely with Victor von Schlegell, the company's President.
As the VoIP phenomenon swept through the US, Gavin was looking out for the next big opportunity. Working closely with ISPhone, Inc. he established an independent Australasian ISPhone company in 2005 and honed in on the lifeblood of the Australian economy, the SME.
His American experience and the heritage of the overwhelming success of the ISPhone, Inc. business model stand him and the Australian company in good stead. With an expert local team he has developed a business grade VoIP wholesale product to support thousands of small to medium businesses throughout Australia.
Prior to leading the charge in the VoIP revolution, Gavin honed his sales, marketing and finance skills in the theatrical and motion picture industry. Working for A.M. Productions in London, England, Gavin was involved in production development and capital raising for several European film production and distribution companies, including Academy Award winning producer Hans de Weers.

Peter has 25 years’ experience in IT&T working in engineering, operations and marketing, including the roll out of Australia’s first NGN IMS network for multimedia voice, data and video over IP MPLS. In his previous role as General Manager for Network Services at Commander Australia Ltd, he had sole responsibility for Commander’s voice, data and multimedia networks as well as customer technical support. Prior roles include engineering design for Telecom New Zealand and Hewlett-Packard. Peter has Masters Degrees in Engineering from the University of Cambridge, England and Herriot-Watt University, Scotland.

Australia on completion of the Southern African contract and served as head of Finance and Administration in companies engaged in Architectural Metal Fabrication and Electronic equipment manufacture, marketing and maintenance prior to joining the Telco industry with ISPhone Australasia Pty Ltd. As Accounting Manager of ISPhone he is engaged in an autonomous role covering all aspects of Financial/ Management Accounting & Administration.

Our Engineering team has over 100 years of telecommunication experience with extensive experience in design, operations and customer support. The team’s knowledge covers all aspects of telecommunications, including both voice and data. Our voice skill base ranges from the latest in VoIP and SIP to legacy telephony such as PSTN and ISDN and also incorporates PBXs, ATAs and hosted telephony services. We are also experts in data networking and the Internet and can advise partners on what hardware to use and how best to optimise their networks for VoIP.
